Easy Orange Ice Cream Soda
4 cups orange juice 4 scoops vanilla ice cream 1 cup chilled cream soda PREPARATION:
Pour 1 cup of orange juice into each of 4 glasses. Top each with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and pour in 1/4 cup cream soda. Stir. Makes 4 servings.
Beer Battered White Fish
1 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed 3/4 cup beer 1/2 cup milk 2 eggs 1 1/2 to 2 pounds firm white fish fillets Vegetable oil
In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder and dill. Add beer, milk, and eggs, mixing well. Place fish fillets in batter mixture, coat well, and let stand for 15 minutes. Heat deep fryer to 375 degrees. Place fish in hot oil, and fry until golden brown. Cook fish in batches to maintain oil temperature. Serve.
